1. How to Delete a Tweet from Desktop
Step 1: Log in to your Twitter account using your computer’s web browser and go to your Profile page.
Step 2: Now find the Tweet that you no wants or want to delete.
Step 3: Now click the three dots at the top right-hand side of the Tweet and a pop-up will appear where you will have to click on “Delete“.
Step 4: Another pop-up will appear to confirm deletion of the tweet. Once you click Delete, the tweet will be removed from your profile. Please note that this step can’t be undone so be careful with this step.
So this is how to delete a tweet from a PC or a desktop device.
2. How to Delete a Tweet from Android or iOS (Mobile Phones)
Step 1: Log in to your Twitter app account and go to your Profile page.
Step 2: Look for the Tweet that you have published and wants to delete.
Step 3: Now click the three dots at the top right-hand side of the Tweet as illustrated below.
Step 4: A pop-up will appear at the bottom of the screen, where you will have to click on “Delete Tweet“.
Step 5: Another pop-up will appear i.e. “Do you want to delete this Tweet?” in order to confirm deletion from you. Once you click “Yes“, the Tweet will get deleted from your Twitter profile. As previously said, this delete step can’t be undone.
So this is how you can easily delete a Tweet using a mobile device (iOS or Android).
How to Delete a Retweet
Deleting a Retweet is very easy.
So in case, you have retweeted someone else’s post, just go to that Retweet and click on the green “Retweet” icon you will find below the tweet.
Simply click on it – you will be presented with two options: “Undo Tweet” and “Quote Tweet“.
You have to click on “Undo Tweet” and it will get removed from your profile.
